The monthly meeting of Kohima District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) was held under the chairmanship of Keneizhakho Nakhro, MLA, in the conference hall of DPDB Kohima on Monday. The meeting was chaired by additional deputy commissioner (ADC) Kohima, Rhosietho Nguori.
According to a DIPR report, the house deliberated on the agenda of setting up of Automated Teller Machine (ATM) booth at Sech\u00fc, Zubza headquarters and Mobile Network Tower at Dz\u00fclekie.
After taking note of the requirement and necessity, the members decided to recommend setting up of the ATM to the DLC under Lead Bank Forum and for to take up with BSNL for necessary actions on setting up of mobile tower.
On registration of societies, the house decided to recommend the Emerging Society, Below Oriental Collage, Kohima to the state government. The DPDB members also decided to recommend the Nagaland Development Board, Naga Bazaar, Kohima on the condition to comply with the board\u2019s suggestions made during the meeting.
Further, the board recommended the Tsieramia Council, Kohima Village for registration while reviewing the last meeting minutes.
The agenda on the upgradation of Government Middle School (GMS) to Government High School (GHS), Lower Chandmari, Kohima was deferred to the next DPDB meeting. At the meeting, departmental presentation on POSHAN MAAH 2022 was presented by Social Welfare department, district welfare officer Akali while the scenario of HIV&AIDS by People Living with HIV (PLHIV) in the district was presented by District Aids Prevention & Control Unit (DAPCU) Kohima, district programme officer Sentimongla Tzudir.
