In his message at a brief programme, FGN kedage, Vekroni Dozo cited several incidents of horror that remained unrecorded.<br>Dozo said that India had not been sincere and ready to commit or come forward and address the \u201cIndo-Naga\u201d issue in a proper perspective. FGN Kedage said that ongoing talks between government of India, NSCN (I-M) and NNPGs were \u201conly a device to fool not only the Nagas but the outside world too\u201d.<br>He alleged that India had planned to \u201cwhite wash her actions and ambition to occupy Nagaland by claiming legal justification in the eye of international community.\u201d<br>Dozo said that whatever solution that could arrive at under the Constitution of India would not be a final settlement to the protracted \u201cIndo-Naga\u201d issue. At this juncture, he said NGOs and the \u201cpuppet Nagaland state government\u201d shouting peace and solution under Indian Constitution was \u201ca sham and a blot on Naga identity\u201d.<br>Also, speaking at the programme, NNC central executive council member Zapuvisie Lhousa narrated the story of late Zasibito Nagi, the first Naga martyr, who was killed by Assam police personnel on October 18, 1952 at Old Taxi stand. Lhousa said that although Nagas were aware of the story of late Nagi, people have forgotten the location and history with the passage of time.<br>NSCN (I-M) CEC member Victor Angami sharing his thoughts on solution claimed that if Nagas were to come under the constitution of India, he would render his resignation. He also said that NNC stood for solidarity of all Nagas.<br>He said NNC leaders collectively set aside October 18 to be \u201cNaga National Martyrs\u2019 Day\u201d to be observed every year in memory of all those who laid down their lives for the Naga cause.<br>Late Zasibito Nagi, born in 1921, was the son of Vizielhou Nagi from Jotsoma village.<br>At the programme, one minute silence was observed in memory of \u201cnational workers\u201d who laid down their lives for the \u201cnation\u201d.<br>The programme was led by Pf\u00fczhalie Nakhro, invocation was given by Baptist Church Jotsoma, Pastor Zakiebiny\u00fc Peseyie and vote of thanks was proposed by ARC chairman, Chosel.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The \u201c70th Naga Martyr\u2019s Day\u201d, organized NNC Angami Region, was observed at Jotsoma village on Tuesday.
