{"id":316007,"date":"2022-12-12T02:16:57","date_gmt":"2022-12-11T20:46:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.com\/?p=316007"},"modified":"2022-12-12T02:16:59","modified_gmt":"2022-12-11T20:46:59","slug":"foothill-doyang-bridge-to-be-inaugurated-on-dec-14","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2022\/12\/12\/foothill-doyang-bridge-to-be-inaugurated-on-dec-14\/","title":{"rendered":"Foothill: Doyang bridge to be inaugurated on Dec 14"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nagaland Foothill Road Co-ordination Committee (NFHRCC) has informed that the much-awaited historic bridge over Doyang river at Governor\u2019s Camp, Liphanyan is set to be inaugurated by state chief minister Neiphiu Rio on December 14, 2022.<br>In this regard, NFHRCC convener Supu Jamir, secretary W Lemba Chang, co-convener Hokiye Yepthomi and assistant general secretary Chenithung Humtsoe, in a joint statement, said that the committee during an emergency meeting held on Sunday resolved to invite all apex tribal hohos, Dimapur-based tribal hohos, Young Naga Action Committee on Foothills Road, contractors involved in the Foothills Road construction, local civil society organisations (CSOs) and former members of the Nagaland Foothill Road Co-ordination Committee to attend the inaugural function.<br>The committee said it would provide lunch, while requesting the invitees to arrange their own transportation. For further information on logistics arrangements the following members can be contacted\u2013 Mar Lemtur (94350 19202), Himaihito Chishi (70059 994902), Chinden Konyak (60097 77148), Dr Ramjee Yimkhiung (8974451462) and T Sapiba Sangtam (94360 02614).<br>It recalled that the historic Naga Survival Bridge was started in 2014 at the initiative of CSOs and funded by the State government. The work was executed by M\/s L Pukhato Shohe and Sons.
