If it was affirmative, then ACAUT asked whether it was the policy of the NSCN (I-M)\u201d to stop all developmental works in Nagaland, pending final settlement of its peace talks with the GoI?<\/div>\n<div>(2) ACAUT asked NSCN (I-M) if its elements were involved in stopping the four-lane works? If it is in the affirmative, ACAUT asked what action NSCN (I-M) contemplated \u201cagainst such rogue IM cadres?\u201d ACAUT also asked whether NSCN (I-M) would expose \u201call these rogue elements with their complete identity and designations, so that people of Nagaland know who these anti-people are?\u201d<\/div>\n<div>ACAUT has demanded that NSCN (I-M) give appropriate reply within three days and in case NSCN (I-M) failed to do so, then the automatic conclusion will be that NSCN (I-M) \u201cdoes not want Nagaland people to enjoy fruits of development\u201d. Further it said in case the problem persisted then ACAUT would be forced to appeal to appropriate authorities, with unpleasant consequences.<\/div>\n<div>ACAUT also requested both Maytas-Gayatri and NSCU not to stop their works under any circumstances but ensure that the life road for Nagas was not jeopardised. ACAUT also reminded the contractors that workmanship and quality should not be compromised at any cost.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>In addition, it has urged upon the state government not to \u201cremain a mute spectator\u201d and at the least, assure Naga public through a press release to the effect that works will not be affected.<\/div>\n<div>ACAUT reaffirmed a previous resolution with the Western Angami Public Organisation (WAPO) that no entity shall be allowed to disturb the four-lane construction for Asian Highway-I under any circumstances.
