Attendees included DGC students of vocational course on floriculture and faculty.<\/div>\n<div>Founder and project-co-ordinator of Gene Bandhu, Kapil Gupta, interacted with students during a workshop on stem cell therapy and its advantages. The programme was organised by Career Guidance Cell, DGC, in collaboration with Eden Medical Centre (EMC). &nbsp;&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>DGC also observed \u2018No- tobacco Day\u2019 with a seminar on \u2018Tobacco and its ill-effects organised by No-Tobacco Zone Committee, DGC, with EMC Dr. Moatoshi as resource person.<\/div>\n<div>Meanwhile, Dimapur Govt College Teachers\u2019 Association with Eco and Beautification Club, DGC, organised a plantation and beautification drive in commemoration of WED.<\/div>\n<div>Altogether, 110 trees and shrubs were planted in the campus and along the highway leading to the campus. &nbsp;DGC also appealed all family and neighbourhood to extend their cooperation around the campus.<\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;The college &nbsp;also organized an orientation programme and welcomed the fresh batch of over 400 students of 1st semester, Arts and Commerce.<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dimapur Government College organized various activities on May 28, May 30, May 31 and June 5. &nbsp;DGC RUSA committee organised a workshop on fresh flower arrangement with CIH, Medziphema assistant horticulturist Sashirenla Aier, as resource person.
