The memorial contain a plaque in which names of Naga Labour Corps feature. It was installed in honour of the Indian army and labour corps who fought in France during WW-I.<br \/>\nAccording to Chief Minister\u2019s Office, the year 2017 is significant for the Naga labour corps as 2017 marks the 100th anniversary of the Naga Labour Corps participation in \u201cThe Great War\u201d.<br \/>\nDr. Liezietsu also visited the Indian cemetery at Ayette and laid a wreath at the gravestone of one Shikhu, of the Naga labour corps. The chief minister was accompanied by Director External Relations of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission Liz Sweet.
