However, it said true to his nature, Khango who claimed to be living in a thatched house had recently constructed an RCC at Yankao and owns another RCC house at Tobu town.
In addition, the MIP said during his president Khango was paid monthly allowances “higher than the president of India” while he has not contributed even a single penny. Thus, MIP said Khango does not understand any language or gesture except money.
Further it said less than five years after signing of cease fire with the government of India, Khango tried to impeach ato kilonser ‘col.’ (retd) Isak Sumi in 2020, with kilonser Newel after allegedly receiving bribe and again in 2023 by Hokato Vusshe with the help of kilonser Shellen Konyak.
However, it said the “most amusing part” was that Hokato claimed he was not involved in disrupting or bribing impeached president Khango. On the other hand, it said Phuyeka had admitted in front of highly respected leaders and civil societies, that Hokato sponsored the failed coup.
It claimed that Hokato along with some of his lieutenants had camped at the Yangkao camp which the impeached president Khango was still forcefully occupying.
In this regard, MIP said it was left to Nagas to judge, “whether Hokato Vusshe is a liar or a patriot as he claimed to be” and who was issuing the Naga issue for his position and agenda.
MIP also termed the allegation by Khango and “his outlawed gang” that Isak Sumi was impeached by 2/3rd majority was a “blatant lie” and a “mockery of the constitution of NSCN/GPRN(K)”
According to MIP the act was done “under ultra secrecy” from the kitchen of impeached president Khango at Yangkao village where the entire GPRN government was caught by surprise by the failed coup and attempt on the life of Isak Sumi. It claimed to have photographic evidence and witnessed by the disarmed guards.
MIP said there are only four Kilonsers and equal number of dy. Kilonsers with Khango Konyak and that the lone designated camp at Yangkao “is empty except for dozen boys who have defected from other organisations with Hokato Vusshe.”
MIP also said there are rumours that “only three attendants are with former C-N-C Moba Konyak and five cadres with Khango Konyak” while the rest have either deserted or joined Isak group and therefore those with Khango are “a collection of habitual defectors and criminals”
Stating it does not want to stoop down to low level as that of Khango-led NSCN, MIP said Khango’s faction claiming credit for signing ceasefire with the government of India as if it was his personal property, was “nothing short of ignorance” since the ceasefire was signed between the government of India with functionaries of NSCN/GPRN (K) and not with Khango.
MIP said the rebuttal was issued to reassure Nagas that the entire NSCN/GPRN was still intact and had unanimously expelled “Khango and his gang from NNPG” and that the group continues to stand in solidarity with the leadership of president Luyanba Yimkhiung, ato kilonser ‘col.’ (Retd.)
