{"id":32900,"date":"2017-05-22T23:12:03","date_gmt":"2017-05-22T23:12:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/2017\/05\/22\/sbck-observe-clean-election-sunday\/"},"modified":"2017-05-22T23:12:03","modified_gmt":"2017-05-22T23:12:03","slug":"sbck-observe-clean-election-sunday","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2017\/05\/22\/sbck-observe-clean-election-sunday\/","title":{"rendered":"SBCK observe clean election Sunday"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/SFYAYQNWPQYOLBZPHWMZ.jpg><\/p>\n<div>The S\u00fcmi Baptist Church Kohima (SBCK) observed \u201cClean Election Sunday\u201d on May 22.<\/div>\n<div>A press note by SBCK media cell stated that during the service, All Sumi Students Union (SKK), president Ninoto Awomi highlighted the main objectives of SKK\u2019s Mission \u201cDoing Right\u201d (Achipiu Mlahnni) and the vision for tackling four major issues in Sumi jurisdiction, to ensure Clean Elections, to ensure quality education and check proxy teachers, to ensure every government servant was stationed at their own place of posting and perform their duties efficiently and to ensure quality developmental works and check contract works.<\/div>\n<div>To ensure free and fair election SKK has come up with Mission \u201cDoing Right\u201d within Sumi Jurisdiction, he added. He also mentioned the 11-point resolution passed on April 12 by the S\u00fcmi apex bodies comprising of S\u00fcmi Hoho, S\u00fcmi K\u00fckami Hoho, S\u00fcmi Totimi Hoho, SKK, NBCC and all the frontal organisation and civil societies. He also stated that historic people\u2019s movement of Mission Doing Right comprised of elite group of young professionals, entrepreneurs and experts and the Mission was spearheaded by Clean Election Campaign team with SKK officials who were working tirelessly for the cause of the S\u00fcmi and society at large.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>Alobo Naga in his speech highlighted on the recently completed constituency-wise 1st phase public rallies of the SKK Clean Election Campaign. He said that since everyone was equally responsible for the ugly scenario in the state, blame game among the public and politicians needed to be stopped. He appealed to the politicians, bureaucrats and all the stake holders to stop corruption and live with a vision upholding true Christian principles. He also exhorted the youth to be responsible in bringing positive change in our State.<\/div>\n<div>He also informed that Mission Doing Right &#8211; Clean Election team would soon be setting up sub-committee from village level to area\/block level in all the 7 constituencies under Zunheboto District.<\/div>\n<div>Founder and chairperson, Youth Net Nagaland, Hekani Jakhalu, said people were well aware of the poor economy and lack of development and this had resulted because of root cause of corruption.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>She stated that public were at the most important position in the society because public were the opinion and decision makers.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>At the programme the church also prayed for the Mission Doing Right &amp; SKK team for the ongoing mission and a special presentation of the theme \u201cDoing Right Mission\u201d was performed by Alobo Naga.<\/div>\n<div>Asstt. pastor Kito Shohe led the service, asst pastor Nishili S Aye invoked God\u2019s blessings, sermon was delivered by pastor SBCK, Dr. Hokheto Chophy.<\/div>\n<div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The S\u00fcmi Baptist Church Kohima (SBCK) observed \u201cClean Election Sunday\u201d on May 22.
