Ghaspani battalion organised a solemn wreath laying ceremony at Unit War Memorial Ghaspani, Chumoukedima district on February 15. To remember and honour its braveheart Rfn\/GD Rai Singh, 7 Assam Rifles, who had made the supreme sacrifice in the line of duty on February 15, while the unit was deployed in Thoubal district, Manipur. Jalukie battalion conducted interaction programme at Nzai village and old Tesen, Peren district on February 15. The aim was to develop and strengthen relationship with Heraka people, through close interaction. A productive interaction and redressal of grievance session was also conducted and awareness lecture on important of education to children, health and hygiene and various schemes of government was also conducted. A total of 45 villagers participated in the event. Kohima battalion organised a free medical camp at Ruzazho village, Phek district on February 12.
