{"id":33018,"date":"2017-05-18T00:33:01","date_gmt":"2017-05-18T00:33:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/2017\/05\/18\/acaut-clarifies-statement\/"},"modified":"2025-04-16T13:20:02","modified_gmt":"2025-04-16T07:50:02","slug":"acaut-clarifies-statement","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2017\/05\/18\/acaut-clarifies-statement\/","title":{"rendered":"ACAUT clarifies statement"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/><\/p>\n<div>ACAUT Nagaland through its media cell has sought to clear the air over its press statement, published in local dailies on April 24, 2017, wherein \u201cmisconception\u201d was created that ACAUT had endorsed the reduction of the employee salary tax by NSCN (I-M) from 24% to 12%.<\/div>\n<div>Making its stand clear, ACAUT clarified that under no circumstances had it endorsed the reduction nor did it endorse any form of taxation by any \u2018Naga factional groups\u2019, adding that it was still resolute and firm in the people\u2019s demand for \u2018one government one tax.\u2019&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>ACAUT stated that its previous press release had only welcomed the decision of the collective leadership of NSCN (I-M) to scrap the \u2018Syndicate\u2019 and \u2018dealership\u2019 system.<\/div>\n<div>Asserting it cannot relax on one government one tax, ACAUT said its \u201cdirective\u201d still remain that no businesses\/government servants or any individual would pay any form of tax to any Naga factional groups till the people\u2019s aspirations were fulfilled.<\/div>\n<div>\u201cAny illegal payment of tax to the factions by government employees would still attract cases being registered against the officials,\u201d ACAUT said and appealed to all the Naga political groups to work toward \u2018one government one tax\u2019.<\/div>\n<div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ACAUT Nagaland through its media cell has sought to clear the air over its press statement, published in local dailies on April 24, 2017, wherein \u201cmisconception\u201d was created that ACAUT had endorsed the reduction of the employee salary tax by NSCN (I-M) from 24% to 12%.
