The seminar was conducted with the motive to reignite knowledge of traditional culture of Sumi tribe festival and how to preserve Sumi culture in this transitioning modern life.<br>A press release by KQWS stated that special guest, Joint Director SCERT, Hosheli, spoke on how one must value and embrace its culture and learn to co-ordinate with current modern lifestyle.<br>She reminded all not to forget old ways, values and roots, especially to younger generations, and also spoke on origin of Sema culture and Tuluni festival and its significance.<br>Meanwhile, resource person, Retd Jt Director of School Education, Piholi Sumi, also spoke on utmost need to relearn and re-nurture values of tribal culture and how one should not forsake but learn to preserve our culture.<br>The release added that invocation was offered by Merry Zhimo of Sumi Baptist Church, and welcome note delivered by Kutoli Khala.
