Harry Styles called crew members to check they were OK after the stage that he was performing on at the 2023 Grammy Awards spun in the wrong direction.
That\u2019s according to Grammys set designer Julio Himede, who told the BBC\u2019s Eurovisioncast podcast that Styles was courteous and didn\u2019t criticise technicians for the mishap.
Styles \u201ccalled the team in charge to make sure they were OK,\u201d Himede said.
At the 65th Annual Awards in Los Angeles on February 5, Styles and his dancers were forced to \u201creverse\u201d their routine live onstage after the revolving stage malfunctioned.
The pop star sang his 2022 hit single \u2018As It Was\u2019 and was due to mirror the song\u2019s official video by presenting Styles on spinning turntable alongside a group of backing dancers.

Himede added that the mishap \u201cwas heartbreaking\u201d.
\u201cIn rehearsals his performance was so polished. I was sitting there admiring how amazing Harry and his dancers were to just run with it and cope with it. To continue the performance live and all of a sudden think, \u2018I have to just go in reverse now\u2019, is quite incredible.\u201d
Himede added that incidents like that why multiple rehearsals are so important for live television, as he went on to discuss his next big project: the set design for the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest.
Meanwhile, in other Styles news, Shania Twain has released an official cover of his song \u2018Fallen\u2019.
The track, released as part of the singer\u2019s Spotify Sings session on March 15, is also accompanied by Twain\u2019s cover of the Howlin\u2019 Wolf song \u2018Spoonful\u2019 and the title track of her recent album, \u2018Queen Of Me\u2019.
Twain said of her \u2018Falling\u2019 cover in a statement to Stereogum: \u201cI just fell in love with \u2018Falling\u2019.
