Advisor, CAWD and Taxes, Kudecho Khamo, said the government was committed to delivering quality governance rewarding meritocracy and hardwork at same time maintaining productivity at all levels of the governance.
He was speaking at the introductory and felicitation programme organised to welcome him at the conference hall of CAWD, here on Monday.
He said the NDPP-BJP alliance was committed to serve the people and take Nagaland towards a State of Excellence with people from all capacity moving forward.
While appreciating the division for according him the warm welcome, he requested the officials to extend fullest cooperation and suggestions for a smooth functioning.
He pointed out that although CAWD was only a division, it was the face of the government with very important and crucial roles to play in taking the work ahead. He expressed enthusiasm that he would be working with many good engineers, the creamy layer in terms of academics, discipline and hard work in their schools and families.
He urged the gathered officials to ensure that the public do not undermine them at the same time work hard to avoid bringing a bad name to department or the government in their dealings.
Khamo said he had a commitment to not be a liability to the government while being approachable and dedicated.
The programme was chaired by executive engineer, CAWD Nagaland, Er Sungtiba Amer and invocation by DAO Kiheto Awomi.
