Nise Meruno and Alobo Naga performed to a packed audience during their collaborative acoustic performance at Kuda Caf\u00e9, Kuda Village, Dimapur, Saturday night.\nBelting out some of the most popular and crowd favourite songs including Make You Feel My Love, In This Life, When I Was Your Man, What A Wonderful World, All of Me, Always, Kums\u00fcjulo, I Don\u2019t Wanna Miss A Thing, Stand By Me besides some more covers, the two artistes took turns in giving a mesmerizing performance to the crowd.
\nPost concert, Nise summarised the show as a \u201ctherapy session\u201d for the both of them as they had been going through hurdles in their professional lives recently. But the massive turnout for the event reflected the positive sentiments and constant support of the people towards our works, which is \u201creally humbling and heart touching\u201d, Nise said.
\nAlobo in a brief description of the show said, it was what he had been wanting to do, something \u201ctotally music\u201d with no artificial touches but the pure and authentic voice of an artiste with his acoustic instrument.
\nAdding that he took the live performance, which is a one on one kind of an atmosphere with an audience, as a challenge where he can sing some of his favourite songs.
\nAlobo added that it was always a blessing for him singing and performing with Nise, who was also his vocal teacher during his initial stages as an artiste.
\nRegretting that a lot of people had to go home since they could not find a place to even stand, Alobo left a note of encouragement for them by expressing his desire to come up with more of such shows in a bigger way in the future.
\nDescribing the concert as \u201cawesome\u201d, one of the audiences said the crowd really enjoyed singing along as the two artistes performed some of their favourite songs of all time both classic and contemporary.<\/p>\n
