{"id":347289,"date":"2023-05-14T03:03:11","date_gmt":"2023-05-13T21:33:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.com\/?p=347289"},"modified":"2023-05-14T03:03:13","modified_gmt":"2023-05-13T21:33:13","slug":"unpg-nnc-declares-kiviho-zhimomi-as-its-president","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2023\/05\/14\/unpg-nnc-declares-kiviho-zhimomi-as-its-president\/","title":{"rendered":"UNPG-NNC declares Kiviho Zhimomi as its president"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">United Naga People\u2019s Government (UNPG)\/NNC (Parent Body) has officially declared S Kiviho Zhimomi as its president during an official declaration programme held at its central office, L-Khel Diphupar on Saturday.<br>Following the recent conflict within the group and subsequent intervention of Working Committee, Naga National Political Groups (WC, NNPGs), the group\u2019s council of kilonsers at an emergency meeting held on May 10 resolved to abide by the WC, NNPGs resolution and decided that Z. Royim Yimkhuing would remain as president of NNC parent body, S Kiviho Zhimomi would be elevated to president UNPG-NNC and Toshi Walling would remain as co-convener of NNPGs.<br>Speaking at the programme, WC, NNPGs convenor and GPRN\/NSCN ato kilonser, N Kitovi Zhimomi, stated that issue between the two leaders (Kiviho Zhimomi and Z Royim) was created by \u201cunscrupulous individual wanting to demolish peace and tranquillity of the party.\u201d<br>Kitovi said that a meeting was convened recently between two leaders, wherein no fault or mistakes were found against each other and thus they both favoured for peace and settlement.<br>WC convenor said that Kiviho was, therefore, declared as president of UNPG-NNC to handle all administrative and executive powers, while Z Royim as chairman of NNC (PB) to take all decision on behalf of NNC PB and also to maintain the integrity of the party.<br>He urged both the leaders to work together since they have settled for peace and understanding. Kitovi advised them not to believe everything and anything they hear.<br>Also, speaking at the programme, newly inducted president of UNPG-NNC, S Kiviho Zhimomi, assured that he would try his best to work humbly for the party. He also requested all party workers and all the Nagas to pray that God provide him wisdom and strength.<br>He further assured to work in full cooperation with NNPGs.
