Col. Amitabh Sharma, on post interrogation, the apprehended member revealed of having served \u201cextortion notice\u201d to various vehicle showrooms in Dimapur, Chumukedima and Kohima and that he was working under, \u2018brig\u2019 Akhao Zhimo, finance in charge NSCN (K) Dimapur. The individual along with the recovered arms and items were handed over to Diphupar Police Station, PRO stated.<\/div>\n<div>In a separate operation, Khonsa Battalion of the Assam Rifles under DAO Division carried out a major operation in the early hours of May 5 at Kunsa in south Arunachal Pradesh and apprehended two NSCN (K) members identified as \u2018lt\u2019 Wanphai Wangsa and \u2018cpl\u2019 Kekho Homku along with 9mm and 7.65 mm pistols and ammunitions.<\/div>\n<div>According to PRO defence Col, C. Konwer, the arrested persons were \u201cterrorizing people and extorting money\u201d from the area and were involved in various \u201cnefarious activities\u201d.
