{"id":35112,"date":"2018-03-15T00:14:39","date_gmt":"2018-03-15T00:14:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/2018\/03\/15\/npsc-rules-pcc-welcomes-govt-notification\/"},"modified":"2018-03-15T00:14:39","modified_gmt":"2018-03-15T00:14:39","slug":"npsc-rules-pcc-welcomes-govt-notification","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2018\/03\/15\/npsc-rules-pcc-welcomes-govt-notification\/","title":{"rendered":"NPSC rules: PCC welcomes govt notification"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/><\/p>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">Public Coordination Committee (PCC)&#8211; comprising of PSAN, ACAUT, CTAN and various associations&#8211; has welcomed the official notification of the State government pertaining to recruitment and composition rules of Nagaland Public Service Commission (NPSC).&nbsp;<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">In a press release issued on Wednesday, PCC said civil service aspirants of the State could now look forward to better days with the government finally issuing an official notification to streamline NPSC.&nbsp;<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">Stressing that meritocracy should be given importance for efficiency in the system, the organisation opined that P&amp;AR notification of March 12 could be considered a red-letter day for civil service aspirants of Nagaland as the drastic change would surely aid in bringing about higher levels of&nbsp; fairness and transparency in the State\u2019s most prestigious examination.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">It recalled that after protests in November and December last year by activists of organisations like PSAN, ACAUT, CTAN, etc, under the aegis of PCC, then cabinet led by chief minister TR Zeliang took a decision on November 29 to revoke the October 26 office memorandum (scrapping of Grade III posts from the purview of NPSC) and also met other demands made by PCC.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">While appreciating then NPF government for being sensitive towards the plight of young, educated and unemployed youth of Nagaland and its prompt action, PCC also applauded new chief minister Neiphiu Rio for his quick positive response that helped clear the pending notification.&nbsp;<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">The organisation hoped that the present government would strive to work towards uplifting the society in the days to come.
