{"id":35466,"date":"2017-04-13T00:35:39","date_gmt":"2017-04-13T00:35:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/2017\/04\/13\/nvc-reacts-to-arrest-of-its-citizens\/"},"modified":"2017-04-13T00:35:39","modified_gmt":"2017-04-13T00:35:39","slug":"nvc-reacts-to-arrest-of-its-citizens","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2017\/04\/13\/nvc-reacts-to-arrest-of-its-citizens\/","title":{"rendered":"NVC reacts to arrest of its citizens"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/><\/p>\n<div>Reacting to the arrest of NSCN (K) functionary\u2019s wife and three others in Manipur\u2019s Senapati district on April 7 last by the Assam Rifles, the Naharbari Village Council (NVC) on Wednesday clarified that the accused Shelly N Sumi, Ikheli alias Keliato, Hozheli alias Hozhily and Qhutoli were all bona fide citizens of Naharbari village.<\/div>\n<div>NVC chairperson, Tokheli Kikon; Naharbari village head GB, Ganjalal Mech, secretary, Lanuyanger and Naharbari village GB, Renthungo, said the arrested persons was never found indulging or involving in any anti-social activities and they bear good moral character.
