{"id":355684,"date":"2023-06-16T02:18:17","date_gmt":"2023-06-15T20:48:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.com\/?p=355684"},"modified":"2025-04-10T11:13:40","modified_gmt":"2025-04-10T05:43:40","slug":"man-gets-20-years-jail-term-for-rape","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2023\/06\/16\/man-gets-20-years-jail-term-for-rape\/","title":{"rendered":"Man gets 20 years jail term for rape"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Principal district and session judge cum special judge Kohima, Duvelu Vero, has sentenced a man to undergo rigorous imprisonments of 20 years to be served at district jail Kohima for rape of a child below 16 years of age.<br>The case against the accused identified as one Vishnu Sahani was investigated by UBSI Vikuobinuo and the prosecution case was conducted in the court by special public prosecutor Sashimongla Jamir.<br>In her judgment and order, the special judge stated that, the prosecution had proved all the charges U\/S 376 AB IPC R\/W 4 POCSO ACT beyond reasonable doubt.
