{"id":356659,"date":"2023-06-20T02:15:22","date_gmt":"2023-06-19T20:45:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.com\/?p=356659"},"modified":"2023-06-20T02:15:24","modified_gmt":"2023-06-19T20:45:24","slug":"idcf-activities-conducted-at-mokokchung","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2023\/06\/20\/idcf-activities-conducted-at-mokokchung\/","title":{"rendered":"IDCF activities conducted at Mokokchung"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In accordance with the directives from the Ministry of Health &amp; Family Welfare, Intensified Diarrhoea Control Fortnight (IDCF) activities were conducted across Mokokchung district from June 5 to 17.<br>The objective of IDCF was to intensify efforts towards \u201czero\u201d childhood deaths due to diarrhoea across all states &amp; UTs of India. The Ministry has set target to reach 90% coverage of both ORS and Zinc among the targeted population by 2025 as per India Action Plan for Pneumonia and Diarrhoea (IAPPD).<br>To manage and control the high diarrhoeal mortality rate, the department of Health &amp; Family Welfare Mokokchung implemented IDCF activities for prevention and control of deaths due to dehydration from diarrhea across the health units &amp; villages of the district.
