{"id":356660,"date":"2023-06-20T02:17:23","date_gmt":"2023-06-19T20:47:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.com\/?p=356660"},"modified":"2023-06-20T02:17:25","modified_gmt":"2023-06-19T20:47:25","slug":"assam-rifles-conduct-various-activities-25","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2023\/06\/20\/assam-rifles-conduct-various-activities-25\/","title":{"rendered":"Assam Rifles conduct various activities"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As part of its civic action programme, Assam Rifles battalions under the aegis of HQ IGAR (North) conducted various welfare activities for the local populace.<br>To commemorate the 9th International Yoga Day, Kohima battalion organised a mass yoga demonstration in collaboration with Brahma Kumaris, Kohima on June 19 at Kohima Garrison.<br>BK Sister Rupa of Brahmi Kumaris, Kohima was the resource person for the event.<br>A total of 50 families and 15 students participated in the Mass Yoga demonstration.<br>The Brahma Kumaris Society, Kohima appreciated the effort of Assam Rifles and thanked Kohima Battalion for organizing the event.<br>In another event, Assam Rifles organised a security meeting at Wangti COB, Mon.<br>The meeting was attended by 11 CSOs which aimed at a coordinated efforts for promoting peace and prosperity in the area.<br>In Dimapur, Assam Rifles organised blood donation drive at Unit Hospital in Kashiram Basti to celebrate World Blood Donor\u2019s day.<br>The blood donation drive was held in coordination with District Hospital, Dimapur with an aim to raise awareness on the importance of blood donation and to recognise the contribution of voluntary blood donors in saving lives and improving health.<br>A total of 13 units of blood was donated by voluntary donors.
