Deputy Commissioner and Chairman Regional Transport Authority, Kohima, Rajesh Soundararajan, has notified that the following traffic\/parking regulations in addition to the earlier\/existing regulations would come into effect from March 31. <\/div>\n
The area\/lane between Ladies Mile to Box Cutting: No parking on the left side (hill side); Y Junction to New NST \u2013 No right side parking; Old Tata Parking to Aircel Office – No right side parking (hill side); Lotha Sector Church, Keziekie to Tinpati \u2013 No right side parking (hill side), Tata mobile parking limitation up to 5 vehicles and No zonal\/local taxi between Bus stand & Tata mobile parking (Blue Dart Line); Tinpati Point to Bayav\u00fc Police Point \u2013 No Taxi Parking near the Traffic Point and No left side parking up to Tata mobile parking (valley side); CANSSEA Office to Alder College Junction \u2013 No parking on either side; ITI Junction to GHS Point \u2013 No parking on either side; GHS Junction to G. Rio School Junction \u2013 Parking on left side only below Peraciezie Church, No parking on either side from Peraciezie Church approach road till GHS ground junction and To write \u201cNo Parking\u201d on the retaining walls on the left side; Road from Census Office Junction to NHK Junction \u2013 Parking and No Parking side on the basis of availability of area and width of the road; General \u2013 Parking of vehicle on pedestrian footpath is not permitted.<\/div>\n
The area\/lanes from AIR Junction to South PS: Rokohol Ketsu Building to AIR Junction – No Parking on right side (hill side); Kezo Building (opposite AIR Junction) – Parking on left side (valley side); Diagnostic Centre to Rokohol Ketsu Building – Parking on right side (hill side); Neiphiu Rio building – No Parking on either side; Kere Pharmacy\/ General Automobiles to Canara Bank – No Parking on right side (hill side); Canara Bank to Viu Belho Building – Parking on right side (hill side); Viu Belho Building to Mohonkhola (Dz\u00fcv\u00fcr\u00fc) bridge – No Parking on right side (hill side); Akum Building to Francis Belho Building – Parking on left side only (valley side); AG Point to South PS point – No parking on either side; Yants\u00fc building to Kohima Bajaj – Parking on left side only (valley side).<\/div>\n
South Point Market to CM\u2019s Residence and TCP: City Bus Stop Stand, Below Japfu Hotel – Limiting to 5 buses at a time. Rest of the Buses can be stationed at Lerie Stand; BOC Market – Temporary Taxi stand to be removed; KMC Dustbin area – Public Parking; Japfu Hotel Point to State Academy – Taxi Parking on left side (valley side) for 5 vehicles at a time (to be demarcated); Below SBI Branch (PHQ) \u2013 Parking; Department of State Lotteries – Parking for the Department only; From opposite ADS junction to Big Bite – No parking on left side (hill side); LK Hardware Shop to Supply Office junction – No Parking on right side (valley side); Supply Office Point to Bank of India – Parking for Western Angami bound Sumos & public; BoI to old Hotel Fira – No Parking on right side (valley side); Hotel Fira junction to West Road Mall – No Parking right side (valley side); District Jail point & Big Bite Area \u2013 Parking; Opposite Big Bite to Agri-Forest Junction – No Parking on right side (valley side); Agri Junction to CM\u2019s In & Out route – No Right Side parking ( hill side).<\/div>\n
P.R. Hill to TCP Gate: LK Hardware to Axis ATM (P.R. Hill) – One side parking only on the left (valley side) i.e., Jack & Jill, Popular Bakery side; Below F&ES Service point – Parking for F&ES only; Classic Island to Foot Bridge above Mezh\u00fcr School – No Parking on both Sides; Box Cutting Area – Parking on both sides only for pick-up and drop-off of school children; Opposite Car Decora near WW-II Cemetery – Parking for max. 7 vehicles at a time; WW-II Cemetery to TCP Gate – Left side Parking only but no parking approaching the turning at TCP Point toward NHK. <\/div>\n
