{"id":35823,"date":"2017-03-29T23:36:29","date_gmt":"2017-03-29T23:36:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/2017\/03\/29\/women-sericulturists-training-on-eri-host-plants-plantations\/"},"modified":"2017-03-29T23:36:29","modified_gmt":"2017-03-29T23:36:29","slug":"women-sericulturists-training-on-eri-host-plants-plantations","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2017\/03\/29\/women-sericulturists-training-on-eri-host-plants-plantations\/","title":{"rendered":"Women sericulturists\u2019 training on eri host plants plantations"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/ZVCKSNPFZIDVMIYZDHPK.jpg>KOHIMA, MAR 29 (NPN): District Sericulture Office, Kohima&nbsp; organised 8-day long&nbsp;&nbsp; training on Eri host plants plantation and improved silkworm rearing technologies from&nbsp; March 9-21 under IESDP(NERTPS) 2016-17&nbsp; at various blocks within Kohima district. <br \/>\nDuring the training, about five hundred women sericulturists were trained on the different types of food plants available for silkworm rearing, methods of cultivation of the main food plants of Eri i.e, Castor and Kessuru with on field demonstration, improved silkworm rearing technologies, economics of Ericulture, disease and pests management of Eri silkworm host plants and Eri&nbsp; silkworm.<br \/>\nThe training started in two blocks, namely Tseminyu town and Chunlika at Tseminyu on March 9-10.
