MoRTH had on July 16, 2018 notified maximum safe axle weight for different categories of transport vehicles.<\/p>\n<div >According to an official bulletin, the matter was discussed at a meeting chaired by deputy commissioner (DC) Dimapur, Sushil Kumar Patel, and attended by commissioner &amp; secretary (W&amp;H) Nagaland, general manager NHDICL, DCP traffic, DTO, EE PWD(NH), EAC Chumukedima and DPRO Dimapur on July 27, 2018 in the office chamber of DC Dimapur.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div >At the meeting, the members deliberated on issues regarding tonnage limit of overloaded trucks on NH-29 and improvement of existing NH-29 for smooth passage of traffic. Further, general manager NHIDCL was requested to improve the condition of NH- 29 for smooth passage of traffic.<\/div>\n<div >Discussing on road issue, it was informed that Niuland-Zhadima-Kohima road was opened for light vehicles only.
