{"id":36010,"date":"2017-03-22T23:35:43","date_gmt":"2017-03-22T23:35:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/2017\/03\/22\/jsun-indefinite-ghss-bandh-from-march-24\/"},"modified":"2017-03-22T23:35:43","modified_gmt":"2017-03-22T23:35:43","slug":"jsun-indefinite-ghss-bandh-from-march-24","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2017\/03\/22\/jsun-indefinite-ghss-bandh-from-march-24\/","title":{"rendered":"JSUN indefinite GHSS bandh from March 24"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/><\/p>\n<div>Jalukie Students\u2019 Union, Nagaland (JSUN) had called for an indefinite bandh of Government Higher Secondary school (GHSS) Jalukie starting from March 24, 2017.<\/div>\n<div>In a press release, JSUN president, Haizin Mpom, and general secretary, Pehiato Hingleu, said the bandh has been called against the state government for honouring the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), which the government had signed with the Old Jalukie village council during the establishment of Jalukie town concerning grade IV staff appointment to the landowner. The union said it had in good faith approached the school education department with due formalities and subsequently served a 15-day ultimatum on the department for appointment of landowner candidate. However, JSUN said their rights were turned down without any respect. Therefore, the JSUN said they were compelled to call the bandh in order to show their resentment against the government, adding that bandh would continue till their demands were fulfilled.
