{"id":361262,"date":"2023-07-10T02:53:06","date_gmt":"2023-07-09T21:23:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.com\/?p=361262"},"modified":"2023-07-10T02:53:07","modified_gmt":"2023-07-09T21:23:07","slug":"taekwondo-tournament-in-mokokchung-on-july-15","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2023\/07\/10\/taekwondo-tournament-in-mokokchung-on-july-15\/","title":{"rendered":"Taekwondo tournament in Mokokchung on July 15"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mokokchung District Taekwondo Association (MDTA) will be organizing a district level under-14 Taekwondo Tournament on July 15, at Ladybird School, Mokokchung.<br>A press release issued by MDTA president, supongwati jamir and general secretary, nukshi i. ozukum have informed that the tournament is being organized in pursuance of the Department of youth resource and sports (YR&amp;S) annual calendar of activities under the Catch Them Young initiative.<br>The tournament will be held for both boys and girls under different weight categories. Prize money and certificates will also be presented to the winners of the tournament.<br>It informed that during the tournament, the Mokokchung District Taekwondo Association will select players to represent the district in the upcoming State Level Under-14 Taekwondo Tournament to be held at IG Stadium on July 20 and 21.<br>The association appealed the parents and different schools to encourage their wards (taekwondo players) to participate in the tournament as it would open new avenues for them.<br>The categories for boys are: 27 kg, 27-32 kg, 32-42 kg, 37-42 kg, 42 \u2013 47 kg and 47 \u2013 52 kg. For girls\u2019 categories &#8211; 28 kg, 28-33 kg, 33-38 kg and 38-43 kg.
