The fortnight had family planning camps being held in all the health units providing free family planning services.<\/p>\n<p >A press release from district media officer CMO office Peren, Pezanguno Celine Secii stated that senior medical officer (Obs &amp; Gynae), Dr. Yetovi and his team from CHC Jalukie conducted the laparoscopic ligation cases. A total of 21 laparoscopic and 16 IUCDs were done.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p >Counsel was given by medical officers and nurses in their respective health units and also distributed IEC materials in local dialects apart from free family planning services. ASHA&rsquo;s conducted inter personnel communication in the villages for intensive awareness at the grass root levels.
