{"id":3622,"date":"2018-07-30T00:32:50","date_gmt":"2018-07-30T00:32:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/2018\/07\/30\/cih-medziphema-exposure-trip-training\/"},"modified":"2018-07-30T00:32:50","modified_gmt":"2018-07-30T00:32:50","slug":"cih-medziphema-exposure-trip-training","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2018\/07\/30\/cih-medziphema-exposure-trip-training\/","title":{"rendered":"CIH Medziphema exposure trip &#038; training"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/no_images_650x.jpg><\/p>\n<p >&nbsp;Central Institute of Horticulture (CIH), Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Government of India, Medziphema, in collaboration with ICAR- Central Citrus Research Institute, Nagpur organized a three-day training program on advances in nursery raising, method of production technology and rejuvenation of citrus, at CCRI, Nagpur from July 19 to 21 for farmers and officials of NEH region.<\/p>\n<p >A press release from CIH Medziphema stated that the chief guest of the program, regional centre for organic farming Nagpur, regional director, Dr. A.S Rajput, emphasised on the importance of organic citrus cultivation for NEH region. Director CCRI, Dr. M.S. Ladaniya, urged the participants to transfer technology they had learned during the training program to their community. Assistant Horticulture Specialist CIH, Medziphema, Dr. Moasosang Longkumer expressed his views on the training program and thanked all the resource persons for rendering their valuable time and knowledge to the farmers.<\/p>\n<p >A total of 21 participants from Manipur and Nagaland attended the program. The program covered various topics on nursery raising, plant propagation, pest and disease management, post-harvest and processing of citrus, etc., besides which, lectures and practical demonstrations on Citri-culture were also conducted.
