 Mokokchung Battalion of Assam Rifles conducted a lecture on the theme “World Hepatitis Day” in Mokokchung on July 28. <\/p>\n

According to PRO HQ IGAR (N), the aim of the lecture was to spread awareness regarding viral hepatitis, types of viral hepatitis, its transmission and precautions to avoid the disease. The release said viral hepatitis is presently gaining its foothold in India and the world over.  People were sensitized and encouraged to spread awareness regarding the disease and to maintain personal hygiene, cleanliness of surroundings and to adhere to the precautions for its prevention.  25 youth attended the lecture.<\/p>\n
