{"id":375211,"date":"2023-09-07T01:49:08","date_gmt":"2023-09-06T20:19:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.com\/?p=375211"},"modified":"2023-09-07T01:49:12","modified_gmt":"2023-09-06T20:19:12","slug":"nsf-calls-for-zero-tolerance-for-proxy-teachers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2023\/09\/07\/nsf-calls-for-zero-tolerance-for-proxy-teachers\/","title":{"rendered":"NSF calls for \u2018zero tolerance\u2019 for proxy teachers"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Naga Students\u2019 Federation (NSF) has appealed to the Department of School Education (DoSE) to implement stringent measures to identify and remove proxy teachers from all educational institutions by adopting \u201cZero Tolerance\u201d for proxy teachers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>In a statement, NSF president Medovi Rhi and general secretary Chumben Khuvung welcomed the decision of the state government on the educational reforms, which was announced by advisor school education and SCERT Dr. Kekhrielhoulie Yhome on the occasion of Teachers\u2019 Day celebration 2023. While recognizing the significance of those reforms, NSF exuded confidence that it would usher in reshaping the landscape of education in the state and enhance the well-being of both the students and educators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>Commending Dr. Kekhrie Yhome for his \u201cbold leadership\u201d in addressing the issue of proxy teachers, the federation urged the state government to take a resolute stance against \u201cthis pervasive issue\u201d within the state\u2019s education system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>Further, NSF has appealed to the state government to implement bio-metric system of attendance and strictly enforce the same in all government schools across the state in order to curb the menace of proxy teachers.<br>Claiming that certain individuals have been exercising political connections in obtaining transfer orders to the place of their convenience, NSF said that such practice had been causing much hindrances and irreparable damage in the teaching-learning process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>NSF affirmed to remain vigilant against such political transfers, which it said was prevalent in almost all the departments. NSF also cautioned that it would initiate \u201cnecessary course of action\u2019 to check such practices in order to bring about a fair and equitable learning environment in the educational institutions.<br>The federation assured to extend its support and cooperation to the state government in implementing \u201call forward-thinking\u201d education reforms and initiatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>\u201cIt is our belief that these initiatives will not only improve the quality of education but also contribute to the overall development of our society,\u201d NSF stated.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Naga Students\u2019 Federation (NSF) has appealed to the Department of School Education (DoSE) to implement stringent measures to identify and remove proxy teachers from all educational institutions by adopting \u201cZero Tolerance\u201d for proxy teachers.
