Lobeno Tungoe, a degree student of Mt. Tiyi College Wokha, has emerged as the \u2018Voice of Wokha\u2019 2107. Lobeno with her powerful voice belching out cover numbers from Shania Twain \u2018Forever & always\u2019 and \u2018Mean\u2019 by Taylor Swift made her bag the most coveted title. \nVery close to her were Thungrhoni Ngullie and Rhondemo Yanthan who took their berth for the first and second runners up respectively. The winners were rewarded with Rs. 20,000, a five octave keyboard along with a certificate, Rs. 10,000, an acoustic guitar with a certificate and Rs. 5,000, a gift hamper along with a certificate respectively.
\nThe other two finalists were also presented with a gift hamper each. The first three winners will also get a very special chance for recording their original music at the Von-Jen sound recording lab.
\nThe judges for the Season 5 of Von-Jen Voice of Wokha 2017 were Dr. Nchumbeni Humtsoe and Kyong Youth Initiative convener E. Yiben.
\nThe show was hosted by Miss Nchumbeni Kikon. Prominent bands of Wokha \u2018Old is Gold\u2019 also enthralled the crowd with their old time favorites. The students of Von-Jen school of Music also presented special numbers.
