In a tragic and shocking incident, Mizoram\u2019s most celebrated rap artist Michael M Sailo was killed in a bike accident on Friday night, thus leaving a void in the heart of fans not only in Mizoram but the Northeast region as a whole.\nThe talented singer, songwriter and music composer, Michael M Sailo a.k.a Aceman was killed in a bike accident last night at 11.45 pm. His demise sent shock waves across the region. Sources informed that the popular rap artist died due to head injury.
\nSailo was a member of a popular rock band in Mizoram, The Scavenger Project \u2013 an electro-rock progressive\u201d, a blend of electronic, progressive rock, hip hop and metal and has been involved in many musical activities across the region and the country.
\nHe has participated in many shows and competitions like Independence Rock, North East Beat Contest etc which won his band awards.
\nMichael is survived by his wife, Spi Bawitlung (also an artist) and two kids.
\nCondolences have poured in from various corners of the regions and many took to Facebook and Twitter to expressed their grief and sorrow.
