Candidates of various discipline under \u201cOp Sadbhavna Scholarship\u201d scheme of meritorious students of Nagaland sponsored by 32 Assam Rifles\/6 Sector under GOC, 3 Corps IGAR (North), such as National Defence Academy (NDA), Combine Defence Service (CDS), Staff selection Commission (SSC), Railways and Banking completed their courses on Wednesday at Excel Coaching Centre (ECC), Near City Tower, Dimapur. \nThe project was envisaged to negate the scarcity of adequate educational facilities\/ carrier courses in the remote locations of the state. As part of the project, a total of twelve students from the state were provided with sponsorship for professional courses like NDA, SDS, SSC, railway and banking examinations.
\nSpeaking at the farewell programme second-in-command, 32 AR, S Rajendran said that this was for the first time Assam Rifles sponsored coaching to needful local students. He further pointed that in future AR would conduct more coaching.
\nHe thanked the selected students and teaching faculties of Excel Coaching Centre for making \u201cOp Sadbhavna Scholarship\u201d a success.
\nDelivering words of appreciation on behalf of outgoing students, Rongsenti Jamir thanked the good gesture shown by Assam Rifles and financial assistance for overall coaching and hostel fees.
