AZSU-AMN assistant general secretary Nchaheing and finance secretary Ilungbam in a press release said cautioned that the entry of DHD (J) activists would disturb the peaceful atmosphere of Peren district and in turn affect the entire State.
Stating that the age-old relation of Nagas and Dimasas should not be ruined in a cheap manner by a \u201cfew vested individuals\u201d, AZSU-AMN said, on the other hand, both communities should give more efforts to strengthen the social relationship and bond shared between them.
While acknowledging that every faction had its own aspiration and definite goals to strive for people\u2019s welfare, the union however reminded that outmost care should be taken not to intervene in affairs of others so that bitterness do not set in.
\u201cIt is obvious that situation here in our state is very volatile therefore, in his junction the appearance of DHD (J) Black Widow in our land is uncalled for and we advise them to remain in their territory
It may be mentioned a combined force of Assam Rifles, IRB, State Police and Peren district administration had recently raided the NSCN (K) designated camp at Athibung on the charge that the camp was harbouring DHD (J) activists.
AZSU-AMN also hit out at the unabated killings, kidnapping, extortion and intimidation by various underground factions in the name of \u201cfreedom movement.\u201d
While condemning the July 1 incident between
Heningkunglwa and Kiyevi village where two of the three abducted \u2018GPRN\/NSCN\u2019 activists were reportedly killed by the rival faction, AZSU-AMN said the account of Vikishe (a leacy in the \u2018GPRN\/NSCN\u2019 who had a miraculous escape) that the abductors were from \u201cZeliang and Tangkhul community\u201d might be misinterpreted on tribal lines by section of people.
The union said it should be borne in mind that whatever activity carried out by any faction, was solely under the directive of the high command of the concerned faction.
