{"id":38084,"date":"2017-03-06T23:01:27","date_gmt":"2017-03-06T23:01:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/2017\/03\/06\/three-held-on-extortion-charges-ganja-seized\/"},"modified":"2017-03-06T23:01:27","modified_gmt":"2017-03-06T23:01:27","slug":"three-held-on-extortion-charges-ganja-seized","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2017\/03\/06\/three-held-on-extortion-charges-ganja-seized\/","title":{"rendered":"Three held on extortion charges; ganja seized"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/>AET under the Zone-II of Dimapur Police arrested one person on charges of extortion when the latter was found collecting unauthorized taxes in the name of the NSCN (IM) on February 27.<br \/>\nAccording to ADCP and PRO, in this connection KhakaYepthomi son of late Yehevi Yepthomi of Chishilimi Village, Zunheboto was arrested.<br \/>\nIn a similar case on March 3, AET under the Zone-I of Dimapur Police arrested two persons on charges of extortion after the duo were found extorting money from the business establishments in Purana Bazaar area.<br \/>\nThe arrested duo were identified as Angukavi Yepthomi son of late Hukavi Yepthomi of Asukhomi village,&nbsp; Zunheboto , reportedly a \u20182nd Lieut\u2019 of the NNC (NA) and&nbsp; Tovika Sema son of Ngukhavi Sema of Yehemi village, Zunheboto.<br \/>\nIncriminating documents in the form of demand slips of the NNC (NA) were seized from their possession and a case is under investigation at the East Police Station.<br \/>\nFurther on February 23, Dimapur Police intercepted a vehicle, MN-03-P-1632, from 7th Mile area and recovered approximately 70 Kgs of contraband Ganja.<br \/>\nA.
