According to media reports, the terrorist attack on Israel took place on the 50th anniversary of another hugely humiliating military event known as the Yom Kippur war on October 6, 1973 when Israel was caught off guard when a combined military force of notably Egypt and Syria including other nations such as Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Cuba etc launched a well planned attack also began on the Sabbath day. Israel with an army of around 4 lakh was able to beat the Arab army of over 8 lakh military personnel in a war that lasted 19 days. The failure of the 1973 Yom Kippur was fifty years ago was attributed to Israel’s complacency after its famous 6-day war in 1967 when with an army of 2.6 lakh it was able to rout the combined Arab army of over 5.6 lakh military personnel. This time, the boot is on the other foot as Hamas launched a blitzkrieg on Israeli border posts and towns near the Gaza Strip by land, air and sea. Israel appears to be fighting a different warfare against Hamas, a rag-tag bunch of several thousand terrorists, seen on videos committing chilling and cold blooded murder and abuse on civilian hostages. Amidst the shock, one of the most pertinent question that arise is – how and why could the famed Israeli intelligence fail? This, among others need to be answered but for now Israel’s top priority is to destroy the terror organisation Hamas. However, one aspect widely reported in the media is that Hamas was propped up by the Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu to divide and conquer and control the Gaza Strip and the West Bank. This involved undermining the authority of Palestinian president Mahmoud Abbas in the West Bank and propping up Hamas in the Gaza Strip, now controlled by Mohammed Deif, the supreme military commander of Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing that controls the Gaza Strip. These Hamas brigades carried out the deadliest attack against Israel in decades. Terrorist outfits such as Hamas, Hizbollah, ISIS, Al Qaeda, Taliban etc control people through threat, force and terror. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has backed Israel and condemned the terrorist attacks on innocent and unarmed civilians. Modi’s support can be seen in the light of how India has been fighting a relentless proxy war against Pakistani trained Islamic terrorists in J&K such as Jaish-e-Mohammed, Lashkar-e-Taiba, Hizbul Mujahideen etc. These outfits have been killing and maiming innocents in J&K under the pretext of achieving greater Kashmir(with PoK) for decades despite the fact that Kashmiris have opted for democracy under India. Islamic outfits have don’t believe in people’s freedom but in extermination of democracies through Jihadi terror for Islamisation of the world.

October 8,2023 will go down as one of the most horrific face of terrorism on one hand and also the most humiliating failure on the part of the world’s most highly reputed Israeli military, when Hamas an extremist Palestinian organisation, stormed from the blockaded Gaza Strip into nearby Israeli towns, killing hundreds of civilians-old and […]

[685

post-382361","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","category-editorial
["GET
