The forum conveyed condolences to the bereaved families of late Avizo Metha and late Bendangnungsang Ao and prayed to the Almighty to grant eternal peace to the departed souls.<br \/>\nThe forum was of the view that the incident should have been handled more carefully by the concerned authorities. It said the issues could have been solved at any given point of time, but the precious lives lost can never be brought back. DCCF also expressed concern for students who would be appearing the forthcoming HSLC and HSSLC exams, saying the situation would affect the mentality of the students. It further pointed out that the ban on SMS and mobile data for such a long period has also affected students, businessmen, banks, interviews for job-seekers etc. In this regard, DDCF has urged the government to lift the ban at the earliest so as not to inflict further damage on the society.
