{"id":38725,"date":"2017-02-01T00:51:02","date_gmt":"2017-02-01T00:51:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/2017\/02\/01\/amk-disassociates-as-nma-member\/"},"modified":"2017-02-01T00:51:02","modified_gmt":"2017-02-01T00:51:02","slug":"amk-disassociates-as-nma-member","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2017\/02\/01\/amk-disassociates-as-nma-member\/","title":{"rendered":"AMK disassociates as NMA member"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/><\/p>\n<div>Angamimiapf\u00fc Mech\u00fc Krotho (AMK) has declared its decision to disassociate itself \u201ccompletely and immediately\u201d from the Naga Mothers\u2019 Association (NMA) for time being till further notice.<\/div>\n<div>In a press release, AMK president, Ruokuohe\u00fc Miachieo, and secretary, Kevinguno Meyase, stated that on January 26, 2017, the JACWR at its meeting held at Kohima reviewed the situation leading up to the announced election to ULBs vis-\u00e0-vis the appeal made by the state government and various tribal bodies to JACWR to withdraw the SLP in the Supreme Court, and decided to take steps to withdraw the same immediately.<\/div>\n<div>Accordingly, AMK said official communication was conveyed to the state government and other stakeholders. However, without its knowledge and with no consultations, the AMK said NMA filed a PIL on the same matter in the Principal High Court at Guwahati.
