According to the Pew Research Center, the Muslim population in Europe (excluding Turkey) was about 30 million in 1990, and shot up to 44 million in 2010; the Muslim share of the population increased from 4.1% in 1990 to 6% in 2010. Of all religions, as of 2022 there are 31.6% Christians; 25.8% Muslims; 15.1% Hindus ; various other religions making up 14.4% ; Buddhists 6.6%; folk religionists making up 5.4% ; others 0.8% and Jews 0.2%.By the end of 2100 Muslims are expected to outnumber Christians. According to the same study, Muslims population growth is twice of world’s overall population growth due to young age and relatively high fertility rate and as a result Muslims are projected to rise to 30% (2050) of the world’s population from 23% (2010). The issue of Palestine has served as a strong alibi to propagate a victim card for global Islam outreach. Western democracies, with governments influenced by liberal –left ideologies find it quite totally acceptable to embrace the Palestine-victim card and turn a blind eye on the horrific and brutal crimes carried on Palestinians by the Iran-backed Hamas, a terror organisation that claims to be fighting for independent Palestine. The real goal is not Palestine but anything to attack the US and its allies and especially Israel/Zionism etc and spread Islam under the cover of the ‘human rights issue’ globally. Since several decades, Muslims from middle eastern countries have flocked to the west as refugees, or migrants or seeking political asylum. In fact, over several decades, Amnesty International has been at the fore in championing human rights of refugees, asylum seekers and migrants. An estimated 3.7 million Muslims migrated to Europe between mid-2010 and mid-2016, including approximately 2.5 million regular migrants entering legally as workers, students, etc., as well as 1.3 million Muslims who have or are expected to be granted refugee status (including an estimated 980,000 Muslim refugees who arrived between 2014 and mid-2016). That Muslims are a growing population in the west is because they proliferate biologically. Muslims have an average of one more child per woman than other Europeans. Migration aside, fertility rates are among the other dynamics driving Europe’s growing Muslim population. Europe’s Muslims have more children than members of other religious groups (or people with no religion) in the region. For instance, between 2010 and 2016, the number of Muslims living in Germany increased from 3.3 million (4.1% of the population) to nearly 5 million (6.1%). The most important factor in the growth of Germany’s Muslim population is immigration. Europe’s Muslims vote left for now as they favour welfare and mass immigration, but around the world, a solid majority of Muslims favour Sharia, and about a fourth think it should apply to non-Muslims. Even in the north east the influx of illegal aliens especially from Bangladesh is changing the demography of several states of which Nagaland is also included. Trade in Dimapur and Kohima is dominated by suspected Bangladeshi immigrants whether legal or illegal and despite all the noise over ILP or RIIN, unfortunately, nothing is being done nor will be done.

More than 24.1% or 1.8 billion of the world’s 7.79 billion people are Muslims and outside of the Muslim world, Islam is the fastest-growing religion in Europe.
