{"id":391490,"date":"2023-11-26T01:44:11","date_gmt":"2023-11-25T20:14:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.com\/?p=391490"},"modified":"2023-11-26T01:44:14","modified_gmt":"2023-11-25T20:14:14","slug":"cdi-fdwa-organise-awareness-prog","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2023\/11\/26\/cdi-fdwa-organise-awareness-prog\/","title":{"rendered":"CDI, FDWA organise awareness prog"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Kohima branch of the Centre for Development Initiatives (CDI), in collaboration with the Ferrando Domestic Workers Alliance (FDWA), organized an awareness program on \u201cNetworking with Local Bodies on raising awareness about the rights and well-being of domestic workers in Nagaland\u201d on Saturday, at Lotha Hoho ki in Kezieke colony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>Participants from various organizations including the Angami Students\u2019 Union, All Nagaland College Students\u2019 Union, Kohima Khiamniungan Students\u2019 Union, Kohima Ao Students\u2019 Union, Kohima Rengma Students\u2019 Union, Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), and domestic workers were present at the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>City Coordinator Sr. KS Rincy provided a brief overview of Centre for Development Initiatives (CDI), describing it as a committed non-governmental organization with a mission to empower, advocate for, and offer crucial support to domestic workers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She highlighted the organization\u2019s remarkable achievements in improving the lives of domestic workers and shared some significant successes and impacts since its establishment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>The main aim of the program was to raise awareness among the public about the often overlooked yet crucial role played by domestic workers in society.
