Legendary rock singer David Bowie\u2019s memorabilia is currently being sold at an exorbitant cost, with one his lyric sheets auctioned for over $126,000, when it\u2019s sold.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to a BBC report, the songsheet includes lyrics for the tracks \u2018Rock \u2018n\u2019 Roll Suicide\u2019 and \u2018Suffragette City\u2019, two songs that featured on Bowie\u2019s 1972 album \u2018The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The outlet, as per Deadline also reported that the sheet includes some of Bowie\u2019s corrections, drafts and notes, which were in fact given to its original owner by Bowie himself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It was previously part of the exhibition dedicated to the musician that was launched at London\u2019s V&A Museum and toured the world between 2013 and 2018. A similar sheet for the star\u2019s song \u2018Starman\u2019 was previously sold at the same auction house.
This latest songsheet will go on sale on November 29 at Omega Auctions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Auction manager Dan Muscatelli-Hampson said: \u201cThese are two real cult favourites in the wonderful Bowie oeuvre and \u2018Suffragette City\u2019 has been described as one of his very best.
\u201cIt\u2019s an incredible artefact to have and to hold and it is sure to excite the many millions of Bowie fans around the world \u2013 just as the \u2018Starman\u2019 lyrics did. We are excited to see what it might achieve on the day,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
