{"id":39411,"date":"2016-12-28T22:45:22","date_gmt":"2016-12-28T22:45:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/2016\/12\/28\/mewsw-organises-shg-awareness-prog\/"},"modified":"2016-12-28T22:45:22","modified_gmt":"2016-12-28T22:45:22","slug":"mewsw-organises-shg-awareness-prog","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2016\/12\/28\/mewsw-organises-shg-awareness-prog\/","title":{"rendered":"MEWSW organises SHG awareness prog"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/><\/p>\n<div>SHG awareness programme for women beneficiaries was held in November at Mass Technical Institute Hall, Tsumang Colony, Near DC Office Wokha.<\/div>\n<div>In a press note by chairman, Lanchibemo Tsopoe and secretary Chumchano Tsanglao, the programme was organized by Mass Educational Welfare Society Wokha (MEWSW), a Self Help Promoting Institute (SHPI) under NABARD RO Dimapur.<\/div>\n<div>NABARD Wokha DDM Suhas S Tanksale as resource person described the concept of SHG and cited that SHG have a very important role to play to bring a total social and economic up liftmen of the society. He also described the various roles played by NABARD for promotions and support of SHG in its formations and bank linkage. He emphasized that every members of SHG must be honest, sincere and devoted to the activities they undertake since each member is equally responsible for the Group as a whole. He also described the various schemes launched by NABARD\/Government of India for the benefit of the people.<\/div>\n<div>CM SBI lead district manager Wokha R.C Sarkar in his speech enlightened the participants about various GoI\u2019s social security schemes.<\/div>\n<div>Central Bank of India Wokha Branch Branch Manager Lichumo Odyuo explained the participants about various banking procedures. He emphasized the participants to be honest while availing loans and repay the loans on time as the bank advances are the public deposits, which are to be returned with interest to the depositors.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>Earlier the programme was chaired by Lanchibemo Tsopoe, in his introductory speech he welcomed the womenfolk of Wokha district for showing keen interest to develop themselves.
