Taylor Swift has hit back at those who criticise her for releasing \u201cso many albums\u201d. The 34-year-old pop megastar announced her 11th studio album, \u2018The Tortured Poets Department\u2019, whilst accepting the Album of the Year prize for \u2018Midnights\u2019 at the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday (04.02.24), and she has now told those people to \u201cleave me alone\u201d and let her do what she \u201cloves\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Speaking to her fans at one of her Tokyo Dome shows as part of her \u2018Eras World Tour\u2019 in Japan, she said of the follow-up: \u201cI\u2019ve been working on it for about two years. \u201cI kept working on it throughout the US tour and when it was perfect – in my opinion when it\u2019s good enough for you – I finished it and I am so, so excited that soon you\u2019ll get to hear it. Soon we\u2019ll get to experience that together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She added: \u201cI\u2019m over the moon about the fact that you guys care about my music, it still blows my mind. Everyone\u2019s like, \u2018Why do you make so many albums?\u2019 I\u2019m like, \u2018Man, because I love it. I love it so much.\u2019 I\u2019m having fun, leave me alone.\u201d
The \u2018Anti-Hero\u2019 hitmaker shared the 17-song tracklist for the upcoming record on Monday night (05.02.24) with an image of herself alongside writing that said: \u201cI love you, it\u2019s ruining my life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cFrom the desk of Taylor Swift.\u201d The album features two collaborations, with Post Malone and Florence and the Machine, and the first song on the album is Taylor\u2019s collaboration with the \u2018Circles\u2019 hitmaker titled \u2018Fortnight\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It\u2019s followed by the tracks \u2018The Tortured Poets Department\u2019, \u2018My Boy Only Breaks His Favourite Toys\u2019, \u2018Down Bad\u2019 and \u2018So Long, London\u2019. Track six is \u2018But Daddy I Love Him\u2019, followed by \u2018Fresh Out The Slammer\u2019 and the Florence and the Machine collaboration \u2018Florida!!!\u2019 The ninth song is called \u2018Guilty as Sin?\u2019 Meanwhile, \u2018Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour\u2019 concert film is heading to Disney+ on March 15.
