{"id":408057,"date":"2024-02-25T01:55:19","date_gmt":"2024-02-24T20:25:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.com\/?p=408057"},"modified":"2024-02-25T01:55:37","modified_gmt":"2024-02-24T20:25:37","slug":"dmu-veteran-players-jersey-dedicated","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2024\/02\/25\/dmu-veteran-players-jersey-dedicated\/","title":{"rendered":"Dmu veteran players, jersey dedicated"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A dedication of players and launching of jersey for Dimapur District Veteran Football Association (DDVFA) for the upcoming Inter-District Veteran Football Championship 2024, was held at DDSC, here on Saturday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>The players were dedicated by associate pastor Dimapur Ao Baptist Church, Imnatoshi Longkumer, who also launched the jersey.<br>It may be noted that DDVFA were the defending champions and the tournament will kick start on February 26 at Chumoukedima.<br>Deputy Commissioner, Dimapur, Dr. Tinojongshi Chang, who graced the programme as special guest described DDVFA as the most active association among the veterans. He reminded the veterans on the importance of maintaining healthy body and encouraged them to continue to actively engage in sports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>Mentioning that the involvement of veterans in sports was an inspiration to youngsters, Dr. Tinojongshi encouraged them to continue to create awareness among the youths on the importance of involving in sporting activity. He further reminded the veterans to maintain team work and unity as it will lead them to victory. He also assured his support to the DDVFA in the days ahead.<br>DDSC vice president, Tsenthungo Ezung who also attended the programme, encouraged the veterans and wished them in the coming tournament.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>Shiyito Achumi, team manager of DDVFA also delivered short speech and lauded DC Dimapur, Tinojongshi Chang for his support.
