{"id":408141,"date":"2024-02-26T00:56:26","date_gmt":"2024-02-25T19:26:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.com\/?p=408141"},"modified":"2024-02-26T00:56:33","modified_gmt":"2024-02-25T19:26:33","slug":"training-on-registration-of-births-deaths-in-longleng","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2024\/02\/26\/training-on-registration-of-births-deaths-in-longleng\/","title":{"rendered":"Training on registration of births &amp; deaths in Longleng"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">District level training on \u201conline registration of births and deaths\u201d was organised by the District Economics and Statistics (DES) Office, Longleng on February 23 at its Conference Hall. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>According to a DIPR report, speaking at the programme, Deputy Commissioner (DC) and District Chief Registrar of Births &amp; Deaths, Dharam Raj, highlighted the role of the registrars of births and deaths.<br>He discouraged giving multiple birth certificates while referring to the issue of multiple certificates. The DC said such cases reflect the negligence of duty and cautioned against such practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>Raj also asserted the importance of an accurate record of both birth and death occurrences. He expressed hope that the training would equip the registrars to be efficient, sincere and accountable in their duties and responsibilities.<br>At the inaugural programme chaired by IOS Amos Phom, the introductory note was delivered by the deputy director and DESO, Longleng, R Thsanso Yimchunger. The training was imparted by Chonbeni Oren Patton, ESO from DES Kohima.
