According to a press release, it was informed that the village was established in 2004 and recognized in 2012 and got its first Morung (Atan Qiu) and Logdrum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>The special guest in his speech said that it was the duty of every village authorities to maintain a Morung and Logdrum, which was the unique identity of Tikhir tribe and educational hub enshrined since ancestral period.<br>At the progamme, the speakers stressed on the importance of maintaining rich culture of the tribe and to maintain peace and unity among the tribe and with others as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>Short speeches were also delivered by, VCC Anatongre, Y. Pongkiu, president, TAGBA, K. Kiusthong, president, KAGBU, L.Y Tokim, president, TSU, Temong Y Tikhir and VCC Nutsu, S.
