A press release by Gorkha Students\u2019 Union Ch\u00fcmoukedima District (GSUCD) stated that the campaign was organised by District AIDS Prevention &amp; Control Unit (DAPCU) Dimapur, supported by Nagaland State AIDS Control Society (NSACS) Kohima in collaboration with GDUCD with an objective to capacitate the students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>During the campaign, topics such as the basics of HIV and AIDS, stigma and discrimination, myths and misconceptions, basic services available under government hospitals and NGO set-up and IPC and communication skills were deliberated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>The programme was chaired by GSUCD general secretary, Ajay Thapa, a welcome note was delivered by GSUCD president, Jacob Sundas and a vote of thanks was delivered by GSUCD joint education and statistical secretary, Sancho Maya Gurung.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>An interpersonal communication campaign on stigma and discrimination under the theme, \u201cIndia Fights HIV and STI\u201d was held on February 29 at Singrijan Village.
