{"id":415462,"date":"2024-04-09T01:39:59","date_gmt":"2024-04-08T20:09:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.com\/?p=415462"},"modified":"2024-04-09T01:40:02","modified_gmt":"2024-04-08T20:10:02","slug":"exempt-vehicles-of-edn-institutes-from-poll-duty-ancsu","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2024\/04\/09\/exempt-vehicles-of-edn-institutes-from-poll-duty-ancsu\/","title":{"rendered":"Exempt vehicles of edn institutes from poll duty: ANCSU"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All Nagaland College Students\u2019 Union (ANCSU) has appealed to the state government to exempt vehicles of educational institutes from election duty during the upcoming Lok Sabha election.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>In a representation addressed to the chief secretary, ANCSU president Tenyesinlo Bukh and assistant general secretary Kivinoka A Sema highlighted the \u201cpotential disruption to the smooth transportation of students particularly during the ongoing internal examinations and the forthcoming external examinations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>ANCSU has appealed to all the district administration and the police department to exempt and promptly release both private and institution-owned vehicles, which were currently fulfilling duties within schools and colleges, from requisition for election duty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>It stated that continuous availability of transportation services within educational institutions was paramount to ensure the unimpeded academic progress of students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>ANCSU maintained that any diversion of vehicles for election duty could negatively impact the educational pursuits of countless students across the state.
