{"id":418304,"date":"2024-04-17T02:41:12","date_gmt":"2024-04-16T21:11:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.com\/?p=418304"},"modified":"2024-04-17T02:41:21","modified_gmt":"2024-04-16T21:11:21","slug":"kohima-traffic-regulation-for-ls-poll-preparation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2024\/04\/17\/kohima-traffic-regulation-for-ls-poll-preparation\/","title":{"rendered":"Kohima traffic regulation for LS poll preparation"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In view of the preparation for the Lok Sabha election, the deputy commissioner (DC) Kohima has ordered enforcement of traffic regulations in Kohima on April 18 &amp; 19, 2024 to ensure the smooth passage of the vehicles carrying polling teams and security personnel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>In an official order, DC Kohima Kumar Ramnikant stated that around 700 polling team vehicles would arrive at DC office complex on April 18 &amp; 19, 2024 for collection\/deposition of the poll material. DC office Kohima has been designated as the dispatch and receiving centre of polling materials and EVMs\/VVPATs.<br>As per the traffic regulation, the area starting from Razhu Point Junction via Old NST and via D-Block till TCP gate would be \u201cNo Parking Zone\u201d. The area starting from Y junction till DC office exit route would also be \u201cNo Parking Zone\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>Northern bound vehicles would be diverted from TCP gate towards NHAK junction, Naga bazaar, and census point Tinpatti.<br>DC stated that the measure has been necessitated due to the shifting of the location for stationing of the Election Duty vehicle from the local ground to the IG stadium.<br>DC has, therefore, appealed to the citizens of Kohima town to comply with the directive and cooperate with the stopgap arrangement for the successful conduct of the general election to Lok Sabha, 2024.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In view of the preparation for the Lok Sabha election, the deputy commissioner (DC) Kohima has ordered enforcement of traffic regulations in Kohima on April 18 &amp; 19, 2024 to ensure the smooth passage of the vehicles carrying polling teams and security personnel.
