Pointing out that the accounts of DMC was audited by the state finance department along with the office of the accountant general, Nagaland, the DMC member-in-charge planning and development Nungsang Jamir said: \u201cTherefore, as far as allegations of financial irregularities are concerned, one need only to peruse the audit reports to see that the allegations of financial irregularities are without any basis.\u201d Also, maintaining that DMC discharged its duties with a view to provide civic amenities to the citizens of Dimapur town, the DMC member said in the process, funds were utilized through internal resource mobilization.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>DMC today dismissed allegations that there were financial irregularities in the civic body.
